By accessing and using 3D Octopus's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Services Description
3D Octopus provides professional 3D printing and rapid prototyping services including:
- FDM/FFF 3D printing in various materials
- Online quoting and order management
- Model analysis and print optimization
- Post-processing services upon request
- Shipping and delivery across India
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms
4. Orders and Payments
- All quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise specified
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST
- Payment must be completed before production begins
- We accept major credit/debit cards and UPI payments
- GST invoices are provided for all orders
5. 3D Model Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring your 3D models:
- Are watertight and manifold (printable geometry)
- Meet minimum wall thickness requirements for the selected material
- Do not infringe on any intellectual property rights
- Do not contain illegal, offensive, or prohibited content
- Are suitable for the intended printing technology
6. Intellectual Property
You retain all intellectual property rights to your 3D models. By uploading models, you grant us a limited license to use them solely for fulfilling your order. We do not claim ownership of your designs.
You warrant that you have the right to print the models you submit and that they do not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
7. Production and Delivery
- Standard Delivery: 5-7 business days
- Rush Delivery: 2-3 business days (1.5x pricing)
- Express Delivery: 24 hours (2x pricing, subject to availability)
- Delivery times begin after order confirmation and payment
- We ship via reputable courier partners with tracking
8. Quality Standards
We strive for the highest quality in every print. Our quality standards include:
- Visual inspection of all prints before shipping
- Dimensional accuracy within ±0.5mm for FDM prints
- Layer lines and surface finish consistent with FDM technology
- Minor imperfections inherent to 3D printing are not considered defects
9. Limitation of Liability
3D Octopus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.
10. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our services to print:
- Weapons, weapon components, or dangerous items
- Counterfeit products or items infringing trademarks
- Obscene, offensive, or illegal content
- Items intended for illegal purposes
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
